I just wanted to personally thank you for starting such a needed site, where people can state there needs, or give of there time talking to someone haveing a hardtime. I persanlly believe this site is a gift from God, letting us know all things are possible.. I hope you alway keep the heart you so ovbiosoulsy have for people. I am a 38 year old Filipina, married and with three kids ages ranging from7,8 and 10. I used to live an ordinary life of a teacher in a small province. Problems came and I had to shoulder my husband's responsibility of being the provider. Because our family income wasn't enough, I decided to go abroad(to Taiwan) to become a teacher; however, I was not fortunate and I had to go back home penniless and jobless. From then on, life had become more difficult for me and my family. I have incurred a lot of debts amounting to $3000...I tried to pay each of my creditors by borrowing from individuals, loan sharks and banks. Now, I am jobless and I have no one to turn to.I suddenly found myself more and more saddled with debts. I fear that I can be charged and go to jail for all my debts.Sometimes, I feel so helpless and desperate that I think of getting ran over by the trucks to end my misery.But may God forgive me for this evil thought... I don't want to leave my children alone and motherless...

I raise frogs, so  I can understand your respect for nature and your desire to remain in contact with nature.  My frogs are very very tiny when they transform. The newbie in kitchen is just barely one centimeter and each one  I watch over carefully.

Yesterday, I photographed the emergence  of a dragonfly from the head emerging to first flight--  and  I handle such insects like other people might  thier  cat-- but with tons of respect and awe for them.  I do not think there is a stupid creature on this earth outside of man. Definitely the frog people are very intelligent people.

I've been up all night-- you can write me directly if you wish Singing Blue--   Once the old Shaman of the Lummi called up the great Spirit on my behalf because  he told me that I was walking between two worlds.  I as very very ill and all the poele I knew had died...  he wanted me to go visit him, but I ahd no money to make the trip and did nto think I was worthy of his care.

For such people I ahve very great respect--  but I am invery deep crisis now and often I am just eating old bread  that is very old... and I work around the clock, but nothing seems to work for me. I've just had a very hrd life from beginning to now and most of the hardships occured outside my control. You can't blame the salmon for  the pollution over in the Hood Canal. They didn't do it.  And you can't blame all the millions of spawn that died in Oregon because the stupid government regulators turned off their water...  or all  the animals and fish that die in the plastic soup of the sea.

Or the eagles that were massacred in  Vancouver--  the greed and toxicity that exists, exists because of man's greed and laziness and disregard for  fellow creatures, not because  the fish invented plastic sacks.

reallly I did not invent the hardships of my life, but am just entangled in them  an so I spend as much times as I can searching beauty in nature and lloking at very small things.

I just finished working all night and can't pay telephone or basic things today. I've nothing left--and I am dependent on the internet because of photography.   I have some images over on Alamy.com  and   a contract with AGE Fotostock but it could be another year before there is income.

I am very shy of public. write to me personally and I will keep in touch.  I really need  to pay off the basic debts today-tomorow because they are obligatory and I need the internet to survive as photographer.

singing blue-- you didn't offend me-- the page confuses me and  my response or note was written to someone else and ended up with you. as for me, I can't write anyone. I am in Prague, Czech republic and poverty and hardship is the same everywhere. When you're on the bottom, you're nobody and it's no easier here than there and probably harder. The US government doesn't care about poor American who get attacked by landlords overseas and it's all cosy-cosy  in the Old Boys Club. And it took me some 8months  before I could even recover a valid passport-- the US Embassy made my life  hell here. Without valid passoport, you can forget about getting your proper residency documents restored... it was really a nightmare.  Someone on this page was complainting about foreigners on Aidpage  and  couldn't stop to understand that peole are people the world around. And besides, the only real Americans are the Native Americans and they got hit with genocide. When I was a kid, I worked in the strawberry fields adn most people in US would never do that kind of dirty manual labour for so little money, but they will complain bout the migrant workers who do it for them. In US there is real need for machinists-- I see the calls for machinists and skilled trades constantly, but  Americans will not learn to do skilled trades and so the jobs and companies re going overseas because the compnies  can't survive without a workforce. Many companies that need machinists and skilled trades will  not only pay for the apprenticeship, but pay basic professional salary during that entire time of and then grant journeyman's wages on entry... and that's very high paid labor, but Americans are not interested; but they will scream if  the same companies are forced to use foreign labor. It's crazy.

Aid page completely confuses me-- I am dyslexic and I can't find my way around. It's like being lost in a mirror labyrinth--so forgive me please. You didn't offend me at all. 

why don;t you put yur evidence together and send it to a state epresentative or seek for free legal help. it's easy to find in the US and believe me there's nothing free or easy for people living abroad, so you shouldn't be xenophobic. If someone is from outside the US it's no easier for them to survive than you. google for "free legal aid"  +  state name   and you'll find some way to help yourself. As an  US citizen in Prague, I can tell you tht there is nothing given to me and I pay dearly for all, just as I did in the States. Poverty is the same the world around as well as injustice.

This is a joke right?! I don't believe that people give financial assitance here. It is mostly moral support..I am disabled, have fibromyalgia, injured from a car wreck in 2004. I have gotten screwed by my own government on my disability benefits. I see what the problem is. We have people from all over the world who are not citizens and come here for FREE help. I worked my back end off for 27 years and cannot get help from my country. Now if I was a foriegner, I would have all of my stuff paid for. Imagine that!!!!

Dear Emil, Thank you kindly, for your immediate response to my rant. :) Honestly, I did not think you would respond at all. I realized, after reading my own posts, what a mindset I put myself into. I needed an outlet and this site really served a purpose by giving me a place to let it out. While I am still in the same position, I have been pushed back into reality and drug out from self pity. I guess I became so tired and lost hope when in fact, I am becoming stronger and getting closer, with everyday I go to school, to reaching a goal that no one can take away from me and one that will take care of my children and me in the future. Its just so hard to get there and I need help. I finally recieved a bunch of messages too! They were all inspiring and as I read their profiles, I can see that I am not alone and sometimes I even have it better than others. Its hard to see how much you have when you have nothing, but when you see others who have even less than your nothing is when you stop feeling sorry for yourself and work harder and keep going instead of quitting. I no longer feel alone but I still feel resentment towards those who have it all. And not because they have what I dont, but because I wonder if they know I am out here barely making it. Many people feel exactly the same way you feel. That's probably not a big consolation but at least you should know that you are not alone.

Aidpage is totally informal... and it serves mostly as a place to speak out about your problems... have other people hear you... and eventually get some response.

Your chances of getting some replies depend very much on your own level of activity on Aidpage. You should visit other people's pages more often (they'll see you as a visitor)... post comments, etc... As we say, to get some attention, you should first pay some attention.

Dear Emil, I joined this site last fall. I had high hopes that good people still did exist and surely I would get some help here. I am a single mother of two sweet young girls. They are my life. I work low paying jobs and try to attend college with grants but with all these things I cannot pay my bills and hardly am able to feed my babies. I am ashamed but I have been busting my back to make things right and educate myself so that we wont have to suffer as we do now. But I am weary and so tired, I feel like I cannot go on for I have no more strength. I have not ever recieved one message since I have been here, from anyone. No one wants to help, with all these rich people in our society, still no one helps. I am angry and I resent people for being greedy and selfish. Sometimes, I think IF I do make it, I will be the same way because thats how people treated me, so why should I be any different. All I needed was a little help and no one would help. I am  37 years old. I am the father of 2 little boys. alex-8 and zakary-6 . i am married but separated since 2002, when i was told she did not want to be married anymore.she took my kids from me, durring this time i was looking for work. looking because i had lost a good paying job with fermilab after 9/11. the department i was working in closed down. I was renting a home and it was working out well till i lost the job. i tried to find work and no one was hiring at all , right after that so i was going from temp job to temp job. it was to much for her  so she left.moved in with her sister and took my kids with her. It left me heart broken....made me a very hurt man. well i saw the kids, every other weekend up untill july 15th of 2007, when i was approached by my youngest who said someone touched him in a bad way  while out by his mothers house.did not know the facts at all. so i called the local police and they said to contact the police in her town and not to take them back to her ,until they can talk to her. so that is what i did, not accusing anyone of anything,but just to be safe. the police station called dcfs on her and all hell broke loose . and i was not the one that called them. I took the kids there and the dcfs people came there to talk to the kids and found out my youngest had made it up. it was a lie. but they had called  their mother and told her to come there to talk to them.Well i decided to take the kids to her mom's house because the kids got tired and very figity, so i loaded them up and headed to her mom's in a town near hers. thing i did not know is that she got to the police station and dcfs gave her information wrong and she thought it was something that happened at my house and was mad. she left them and called her mom via cell phone and planted a trap for me. as soon as i took the kids into her mom's house and headed down the driveway i was jumped by her family! her mom, her mom's sister, and her mom's new husband, all beating me up. for no reason.... only because  my wife got the facts wrong. but when she showned up at her mom's house she blocked my car with hers and got out and started hitting me to.. 4 on 1, i could not even get into my car. finally they backed off and i was able to get into the car, i tried to get it started but it was blocked, her mom's husband told her to stop and move the car, so i could get out. but he decided to grab a firewood log off his front porch and slam it through my car window, so he hit the window twice and finally it shattered totally in my face. i was beaten up , glass all over me and car damaged alot.she moved the car and i was able to get out of there ...hurt very bad, and could barely see to drive. i made it to a firestation near that house and reported it... and all 4 got arrested , but my wife was let go because the others said she had nothing to do with it... the other 3 stayed in jail that night, posted bail and got out. the husband got aggrivated battery, and was sent to anger managment classes..... basicly, they got away with it. but i have not seen my kids to this day since that day....I have since seperation of marrage  after  temp jobs to land a desent job, where i was from 5/2004 to 11/2007,got let go for a policy issue which the company did not hear my side on... and i was denied enemployment benifits...I have been looking for work ever since this happend, all my bills are in  bad shape, child support was set durring last job, but i can't pay that without work so i am behind on that. the car i have is $575 behind and next payment about to be added , not to mention insurance that is about to stop on it if i do not pay. and current rent i am behind on where i live, i am $700 short on. i am in really bad need right now and need help.

if you can help me please? i am trying to fix this and i am having no luck.I miss and love my kids so very much, but as soon as i come around to see them , the family says you don't pay you don't see them... and not finding work is killing me....

Hi I am trying to find help for my best friend. He is the most caring for other people person I have ever meet and has help me very much. I love him dearly. My friend has low self esstem and feels ugly after a girl 4 years ago broke his heart by saying that he was the uglyiest person that she'd ever had been with. He has not had the dental care that is required in many years and I know that his mood and, outlook on life would improve only if he had more self confidence somthing that he says he's working on. Financial helping happens relatively rarely on Aidpage. In most cases, people help each other with pointing to resources (online and local), advice, words of encouragement, sending small packages with stuff, and sharing of experience.

Aidpage does not collect any information about specific cases and ways people might help each other. That's why there are no published "success stories."

I see that you have been a member for a couple of years now, I just wondered if you know of any cases where people have actually been helped by others financially. I have read the needs and sad stories that many are faced with but I have not read anything about anyones success story? Also do you know of any other sites or additional help that may be worth looking into when your in a crisis? The number 1 source, PRAYER we've continued to do that nightly, almost seems as though GOD does not hear us. Thanks for any encouragement!

Emil, I just want to say that these pages are a wonderful idea although I am sure you know know that there are scammers who come on and try to collect money from people. I think I have messages from one of them that have been simultaneously placed all over many, many aidpages. Please check this out. I will try to copy and paste the message here for you.
